Pfizer Warehouse Supervisor in Brentwood, Missouri
This role provides supervision of Material Handler colleagues.. The warehouse supervisor will ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations across all Meridian manufacturing facilities and ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with cGMP's following all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Supervises the receiving and handling of incoming materials.
Supervises material handlers (union) involved in conducting the warehouse responsibilities.
Generates material requisitions for the delivery of goods to support manufacturing activities.
Coordinates the movement of goods between Meridian facilities.
Ensures inventory accuracy in the ERP system through the accurate entry of transactions, periodic cycle counts and performance of annual physical inventory.
Coordinates personnel activities - i.e vacations, sick time, etc. to ensure there is appropriate coverage in the department at all times; addresses personnel issues as they arise; trains new material handlers; conducts reviews with material handlers and provides feedback as appropriate.
Follows GMP documentation practices in the completion of inventory control, receiving and shipping records.
Understands Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
Composes new or revises departmental SOPs as required.
Completes investigations in QTS related to warehouse operations.
Assists the Manager, Warehouse Operations with special projects and other duties as assigned.
