The mission of Process Automation is to provide highly effective automation, information collection and reporting, and manufacturing workflow solutions for the Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) Kalamazoo facility. Major systems include Honeywell, Foxboro, Delta V Distributed control systems, an assortment of programmable logic controllers including Rockwell and Siemens, the Aspen process data archive, VMWare ESXi, and Wonderware & GE SCADA systems.
The Cybersecurity lead will triage threats and determine timing for response based on criticality. They will also coordinate reporting on any cybersecurity events. The role would include performing risk assessments, establishing a quick response with a risk analysis, communication with BT & PGE, and developing long term strategies to make our patch deployment easier for future threats. This individual will still need support from SMEs for information and patching, but would do as much testing as possible to help alleviate the load from the rest of the team.
Develop a cybersecurity program which allows tracking of assets and patch/anti-virus levels for easier response, as well as anti-virus and patch deployment
• complete assessments and gap reports for new threats or standards
• develop strategies, standards, and standard operating procedures to ensure we maintain compliance with existing systems and new capital projects
• Be recognized as an expert with site's automation cybersecurity needs
• generate and develop system support documentation
• participate in the site and network wide teams to provide cybersecurity alignment and direction
• clearly communicate progress and issues to management and peers
• Assist in training and mentoring site Automation Technicians, Automation Engineers and other personnel
• Monitor and trend issues to identify and develop preventative solutions
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or work experience.
Ten or more years of Automation Engineering experience
The ideal candidate should have background in cGMP regulations, be up to date on cybersecurity methodologies and the practical application of those methodologies to control systems.

Light travel, weekend and off hours work.

Weekend and off hours work required, some overtime.
Supporting 24/7 operation - on call coverage.
