Pfizer GPA Vials in McPherson, Kansas

Group Leader for Vial filling line with good experience on filling process and possess good documentation practices.

  • Works cross-functionally with SPO III position(s) from the assigned area to implement continuous improvement projects and/or communicate change to the affected areas.

  • Primary Document Owner for GPA Vial Manufacturing Documentation.

  • Reviews and Approves documentation including SOPs, TCP's, Batch Records, Monographs, Plant Run Requests, Material Request Forms, Special Sample Requests, Pre-approved Process Protocols, Quality Table Changes

  • Assists in the development and support of CAPA's and process improvements with the use of LEAN tools.

  • Provides support and guidance to change owners.

  • Initiates Change Requests and/or performs CR assessments to support process improvements.

  • Assists in the approval and review of checklists for experiments and evaluations to ensure the project will be adequately performed.

  • Individual will function as a Group Leader in trained areas as needed.

  • Assists as a Qualified Trainer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires high school education or equivalent, minimum 2 years in a leadership position, 5 years in manufacturing, and experience working in a cross-functional environment.

  • Strong oral, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must be responsible, self-directed and able to work independent of supervision. Capable of interfacing with multiple levels of people within the organization, including Corporate management, third party customers, and plant personnel.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Will be required to do frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposed to chemicals, dust, powders, steam and extreme heat and cold. Vision must be correctable to 20/20. Satisfactory performance and attendance is required

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Superior problem solving skills required. Must be capable of organizing data from multiple sources, extracting key information and performing assessments pertaining to plant changes. Must be competent in basic mathematics and the use of computerized systems. Experience with word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Access, SAP, Trackwise).
