Role Description

Performs light inspection and/or a limited number of manual and/or automated manufacturing support functions. This may include line clearance, outfeed/accumulation, scale operation, overwrap, cartoning/casing, canning, labeling, capping stoppering, and equipment/machine cleaning and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Perform light inspection and retain certification, ensuring product quality during the production process.Check in cages and warehouse materials.Maintain proper documentation - batch records, check sheets, log books.Perform line clearances.Perform room and equipment sanitation.Follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs.Staying current with training requirements.Perform all tasks in a safe manner.Promote a positive team environment.Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral instruction, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines. (Up to and including high school)PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 35-45 lbs. sporadically and 10-20 lbs. frequently; including lifting above shoulders.Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.Stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.Vision must be correctable to 20/20.Communicate and work well inter-departmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow written and oral instructions.
