Pfizer Production Supervisor in McPherson, Kansas


The Production Supervisor directs several production cost centers, supervising production personnel in the manufacturing and packaging of products.


Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:

  • Product quality and meeting quality requirements. Responds with independence to in-process quality questions.

  • Assurance of cGMP compliance.

  • Establishing line operating budget and tracking performance through computation of labor efficiencies and material utilization.

  • Performing equipment and product validations and modifications on assigned equipment.

  • Supervision of inspection, reconciliation or dispensing and receivals of components.


Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in science or engineering or equivalent work experience to possess the ability to direct technical/mechanical operations and people. Requires strong interpersonal skills, solid skills in mathematics, communications, organization and business management. Prefer a strong background in GMP compliance and working knowledge of SAP.


Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.

Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow written and oral instructions.

Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers

Vision must be correctable to 20/20
