Pfizer Validation Clerk in McPherson, Kansas
Reporting to the Validation Manager, the Validation Clerk's primary responsibility is maintaining the Validation library, tasks include scanning reports, cataloging binders, maintaining tracking databases and checking documents in/out for audit support. Other duties include data entry verification and initiating Purchase Orders and Work Orders.
Accountable for assuring the Validation library is maintained in an orderly and organized fashion
Scanning reports, updating of various tracking systems
Provide data entry verification of the plants Continued Process Verification (CPV) program
Develop/execute queries to support Periodic Reviews
Processing of Purchase orders.
Initiate maintenance work orders
Must be able to establish priorities and then respond quickly to shifting priorities, handle many interruptions and requests at the same time, while maintaining daily schedule of activities.
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to accomplish necessary tasks without supervision. Must be proactive in looking for new and improved ways of accomplishing tasks that can result in time and cost savings, and then implementing those changes.
Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed of basic computer operations (WORD, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, databases) and normal office procedures
High school plus additional specialized courses or experience
Requires moderate lifting of up to 20 lbs
It is imperative that mental / visual attention be acute at all times to assure labeling and documentation of report binders is correct.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Position is M-F, 40 hour work week with occasional overtime as needed
