Role Description

Pfizer Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) delivers data-driven insights that enable our clients to make improved decisions. With more than 300 colleagues in over 40 markets globally, the BAI team provides rigorous analytics services to Pfizer leaders, marketing clients and partners throughout the world.Our dynamic and expanding team is comprised of subject-matter experts from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including market research, data analytics, and consulting. If you want to become part of this unique talent base, build your capabilities, advance your career and be at the forefront of evolving insights and analytics, we are currently looking for a candidate to join our Global PEH BAI team.The BAI Director, Global Marketing will be the primary analytics partner to the Global Marketing Lead in Pfizer Essential Health (PEH), and will be expected to own several client relationships across that global commercial organization. He / She will lead the analytic planning to inform decision-making to maximize PEH Business Unit performance. He / She will play a pivotal role in helping the Global Marketing team identify opportunities for optimal strategic brand and portfolio decision-making, ensure successful marketing execution, and measure performance.

Responsibilities

Lead the analytic partnership with the Global Marketing Leads and represent the BAI community to client team.Lead identification, planning/prioritizing and execution of analyses to support strategic objectives of the Global Marketing Team. Support the priorities of the Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, Portfolio Operations, Portfolio Performance and Project First (digital) teams. *Be a strategic thought partner to leadership in goal-setting, strategy development, performance measurement, and new opportunity identification/prioritization to support Strategic planning, Operating Plan, etc.Synthesize actionable insights from strategic analyses into well-structured communications and deliver to senior management Lead and develop analytic solutions around internally generated data in combination with third party data sources and primary market research to enhance decisions made to maximize the large portfolio of products *Leverage different secondary data sources (e.g. IMS MIDAS, internal finance data etc.) and work with large databases to derive insights and infer actions.Work effectively with client teams and other PEH, GBA team members, and partner enabling functions (e.g. Finance, PGS, Medical/Regulatory) to deliver the highest level of service.*Lead cross-functional analytics teams to ensure the successful and efficient implementation of initiatives across the PEH portfolio.

Qualifications

10 Years' experience in Analytics function and/or strategic consulting functionBachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred Expertise with secondary data analysis requiredExpertise with primary market research is requiredExperience in multiple therapeutic areas and Ex-US markets is a preferredExperience in digital marketing analytics & tools to collate large and frequently changing data sets to interpret & uncover patterns, correlations, market trends, customer preferences and other business information is a plusAbility to manage and execute simultaneously, multiple projects involving a variety of analytic techniques.Strong analytical, problem-solving, data management and project management skills; ability to guide the design of and leverage insights from analysesAbility to quickly establish credibility with internal client-partners and to be the seen as a partner to the business with a deep expertise in analytics and delivering impactful resultsA critical thought leader, proactively identifying the need for specific analyses and programs, and marshaling the resources to evaluate and resolve the most challenging, strategic client issuesAbility to provide structure to ambiguous situations, proactively collaborating with senior members of the commercial team to help coordinate and prioritize most critical needsStrong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing others leveraging clear and effective frameworksHighly autonomous; results and accountability oriented.Ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional teams (including contingent resources) as well as in partnership with fellow BAI colleagues, BAI COE, functional partners, other BUs, and external partners.*Comfort with Tableau (or similar interactive analytics platforms) is preferred
