Role Description

The GMCD Director delivers strategic marketing support in key activities and projects across the various functions and regions in the Global Marketing & Commercial Development organization in Oncology. This position requires strong strategic and analytical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional agility to learn and work across multiple tumor types, and maturity to successfully navigate and influence multiple teams. This individual needs to be a self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities, has attention to detail, can collaborate across the enterprise, and will learn from and improve upon existing processes and develop/implement new processes, where appropriate. This role is designed to be a flexible, full time colleague who can be assigned to a particular team based on the evolving business priorities across GM&CD.

Responsibilities

Drive global leadership for assigned program/team on key areas which may include: - Lead commercial activities in preparation for upcoming product launches and drive overall launch readiness plans across functions. - Develop market and customer insights to shape critical success factors and global strategies, ensuring clarity re: scenarios that could impact successful commercialization.- Drive advancement of global medicine positioning and global brand communication platform- Coordinate on global pricing strategy work with market access function.- Lead global cross-functional commercial planning team meeting- Partner with Medicines team and regions to lead Long Range Forecasting, Operating Plan, and lifecycle planning for key assets.- Lead communications efforts around data readouts, product milestones, and key congresses.Ultimately this individual is expected to have strong impact on commercial strategy including launch readiness or life cycle of multiple oncology medicines within GM&CD.

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of global marketing experience in pharmaceutical, Biotech and /or Commercial pharmaceutical Industry with demonstrated experience in new product planning and launches* Global Oncology experience required; regional/in-line marketing experience required* Demonstrated One Pfizer approach by operating above-brand or cross-function/BU on strategic issues * Strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions* Strong analytical skills; ability to synthesize and evaluate information, draw conclusions and make recommendations* Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree highly preferred
