Pfizer Quality Operations Coordinator in Pleasant Prairie W3, Wisconsin
The primary function of this position is to help develop, implement and maintain the quality systems at the Pleasant Prairie Logistics Center (PPLC). The department is responsible for providing the leadership for innovative and continuous quality improvement processes that promote customer satisfaction and service while maintaining regulatory compliance. The position works with operational and quality functional areas worldwide to ensure the quality systems and compliance standards are achieved to facilitate the holding and continued distribution of finished goods products at the PPLC.
The primary responsibilities include:
Review and manage all documentation and temperature monitoring data from international and third party manufactured inbound receipts.
Evaluate inbound receipt criteria to support timely release of finished goods into available inventory.
Interface with other departments to manage/facilitate inventory receipt, release movements, and other applicable SAP transactions.
Support the QAN process for the PPLC and manage communications, notification and alerts to manufacturing and quality locations worldwide.
Maintain trending metrics with respect to temperature excursions as experienced on inbound receipts.
Assist Quality management in the development and analysis of quality metric data.
Supporting the introduction of new product launches.
Help author Quality related site procedures and provide training as required.
The position is self-directed and requires an appropriate level of education (Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School or Associate's Degree required) and quality experience to make and act upon decisions that impact product in the PPLC and the safety of our colleagues and customers. Three (3) to five (5) years combined experience in quality/supply chain operations. The incumbent must have knowledge of quality systems and regulations impacting medical products. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as is a fundamental knowledge of SAP business processes and the ability to work effectively with software applications. Must possess good analytical and interpersonal skills as well as a strong general business aptitude and ethics. Ability to work through others at all levels in the organization with logical and persuasive style.
The physical requirements of the position are the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and to be able to walk the warehouse. The mental requirements would include performing basic mathematical calculations and data analysis.
The position will work first shift, with the possibility of occasional overtime (early start, late release, or weekends) as required. There is also the possibility of the need for travel for business requirements (i.e., training).
