Accountable for the performance of the EHS and Security Programs at the St. Louis Meridian operations. Colleague establishes and implements strategic direction and robust systems to achieve environmental, health, and safety and security operational objectives and ensures compliance with all external and internal compliance responsibilities. Provides effective leadership over the EHS and Security teams that fosters and demonstrates a continuous improvement culture.

• Primary contact for EHS regulatory authorities and internal Pfizer corporate EHS and Security leaders.

• Leads the EHS and Security teams to ensure implementation of systems and controls that ensure compliance with all EHS and Security regulations and standards (internal and external).

• Establishes and implements strategic direction, robust systems, and key performance indicators to demonstrate achievement of objectives and maintained compliance with all EHS regulations, codes, industry practices, and Company standards.

• Ensures the site Security program complies with Company standards and effectively protects colleagues and assets against internal and external threats.

• Demonstrates continuous improvement with building a sustainable, compliant EHS culture at the St. Louis facilities.

• Colleague will be an active, contributing member of the St. Louis Meridian Leadership team.

• BS in an appropriate discipline.

• 7-10 years of experience in an operations-related EHS role.

• Professional certification preferred.

• Site security experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to effectively communicate and provide strong, effective Leadership.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Ability to support a 24x7 operating schedule.

Travel and presence required at multiple Meridian St. Louis locations (Westport and Brentwood).
