Pfizer Legal Advisor in Beijing, China
1 To provide counsel and support to the Pfizer Worldwide Biopharmaceuticals (WBB) business;
2 To draft and review contract, agreement and other legal document; to participate in commercial negotiation
3 To advance the protection of intellectual property;
4 To handle or coordinate dispute settlement, arbitration and litigation;
5 To provide compliance training/education to staff and employees on laws, regulations, company policies and procedures to all of Pfizer China;
6To support market compliance SOP development, update, communication and counseling
To support compliance investigation / compliance proactive review related remediation related efforts when needed
Other matters entrusted by Senior Legal Director
Minimum Qualifications ：
1 Qualified attorney within Chinese jurisdiction
General knowledge of Company /Commercial Legal environment and other general business related laws, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of laws related to Intellectual Property Rights
1 Familiarity with the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry and healthcare/pharmaceutical laws
2 Experience in regulatory and international trade
- Good project management skills
Should possess at least 5 years of experience as a qualified attorney, preferably working in a top tier law firm, in-house position working closely with a business function.
Legal Knowledge and Skills
Being knowledgeable of legislation and regulations relevant to the Chinese healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and the provision of healthcare within China
Having a creative and imaginative legal mind which will be able to identify legal opportunities for advancing Pfizer's business priorities
Being comfortable advising on interactions with Government officials, at local and national levels and other stakeholders
Superior written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely; ability to develop and deliver high level presentations to both internal and external audiences
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to gather and critically evaluate information and prepare written documents that clearly and concisely identify the issues presented and their proposed resolution
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Internet, email, word processing, PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills to confidently provide guidance to achieve goals through focused attention to detail; a consensus builder who is able to rally support for programs and strategies.
Be a strategic thinker with a firm understanding of the balance between achieving business goals and the application of the law
Must be a person of high integrity, capable of maintaining principles under internal and/or external pressure and exercising sound judgment
