Pfizer (Associate) Trainer in Seoul,

PURPOSE OF POSITON/ROLE

This position is responsible for developing, managing and delivering training courses & solutions are available to Pfizer Korea's commercial organization which has CFC role based on global standardized contents and learning platforms in line with global, regional, cluster and local strategy. For that, this position is required to work closely with Training Team Lead for ensuring local business requirements and needs are met through the execution of annual training partner plans/agreements in Korea.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

  • This position reports directly to the Training Lead

  • Close interaction with Customer Facing Colleagues, their managers and leadership team in BU.

  • Collaborate with other BU functions (eg. MKT), related enabling/platform functions and COE, other regions in CO to build competitive advantages for CFC

  • Close interaction with vendors who support operation of Training workstream

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align with legal/compliance requirements

  • Understand local business needs and requirements and apply Training strategy and services under the supervision of training lead can meet the expectation of the business internally and have competitive advantages externally

  • Execute local training development and delivery within training lead's budget control

  • Collaborate with local Pfizer colleagues/vendors to execute the annual training plan with clearly agreed priorities and expectations

  • Manage, deliver and sustain training programmes locally - in partnership with the local business ensuring effective delivery standards with measurement, evaluation and communication of training outcomes to the business based on annual training plan & Training Service Catalogue

  • Product training for CFC knowledge development

  • Skills/CO Tool training for CFC capability development

  • Training technology operation for driving Pfizer Learning Strategy & Culture

  • Localize global & regional training contents appropriately; validate translated materials where necessary and adapt programs to meet local needs under the supervision of training lead

  • Help local training contents development to support specified business model when required

  • Ability to understand technology and run training courses using available CO training delivery systems

  • Ensure responsibilities are required for not only the outcomes but also qualitative process managements

  • Collaborate with local SMEs to ensure effective execution of shared delivery model

  • Carry out field visit days for implementation or enhancement of key services, if necessary

  • Contribute to CO and CO Training community thru participation of any projects and sharing

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or above degree

  • Pharmacy or related major is preferred

  • Proven commercial track & experience within Pfizer (above PMR in sales or equivalent experience is required)

  • Proven product knowledge and related skills for training (Presentation/Facilitation/Communication)

  • Fluency in spoken and written English

  • Computer and technical skills (MS office etc.) to manage training systems

  • Strong ownership & accountability, Proactive & change-agile mindset, Learning agility

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree(or above) required

  • Training delivery experience preferred in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Proven track record in excellent training delivery (eg. presentation & facilitation of training) preferred

  • Local understanding of pharmaceutical business

  • Proven commercial experience

  • Proficient with all technology for virtual and web/mobile based training

  • Cross-functional working experience and collaboration

  • Fluent in writing, speaking and listening English

  • Experience with budget management desirable
