Pfizer Clinical Supply Label Specialist in Lake Forest, Illinois

ROLE SUMMARY

The Label Specialist is responsible for initiating and executing label text and proof development and approval according to Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) Global Clinical Trial Supply Management (GCTSM) procedures. The role will work both with internal and external resources to ensure deliverables are timely and accurate.

This position is based in North Suburban Chicago / Lake Forest, IL.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with GCTSM resources to identify program/protocol label requirements

  • Create Clinical Label Text request to capture all requirements and ensure Pfizer standard requirements are included

  • Route label text and proofs for review and approval. Review and action feedback/comments on text and proof received from vendor and internal reviewers.

  • Participates as a key team member representing GCTSM and label process in project meetings

  • Support compassionate use label text development when required.

  • Manages clinical supply delivery timelines to maintain alignment with portfolio/protocol milestones.

  • Coordinate with and drive vendor related activities to ensure timeliness and compliance

  • Provide label design and content feedback to CSPM. Influences the team.

  • Leverages the knowledge and skill of in-house vendor points of contact to drive successfulexecution of unit operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. degree required, B.S. in scientific discipline highly preferred

  • 3-5 years experience within pharmaceutical clinical supply chain preferred

  • Training in supply chain management, a scientific discipline, or business administration is desirable

  • Strong background in cGMP labeling preferred

  • Demonstrated skills in project management and working with vendors

  • Strong focus on customer service and demonstrated ability to communicate

  • Intermediate knowledge of clinical supply chain processes

  • Experience with contract packaging/labeling vendors is highly desirable

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment that will require management of several competing priorities while driving all projects forward and meeting program/project deliverables.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

There may be short periods which require availability outside of normal work hours
