Ensure the delivery of Commercial Operations' Customer Events & Engagement (CEE) services in country. This involves the management and execution of local market Customer Events and Engagement (CEE) events (Internal colleagues meetings, external attendee engagements, congresses) including event logistics, ensuring event compliance, cost savings measurement, tracking and reporting, attendee management, client & vendor relationship management. Accountable for alignment, where appropriate, with regional strategies and global CoE priorities. Also responsible for liaising with BT to promote meetings solutions that include virtual and other cost effective options in support to continuously changing business needs. Is the local Subject Matter Expert and single point-of-contact (POC) for any CEE initiatives or discussions in-country.

  • Use data sources to create accurate reports to:

  • provide analysis and reporting regarding meeting effectiveness to STRATCO-CO leadership or business units

  • manage suppliers and measure agency performance (e.g., activity levels, spend, issue logs) on a regular basis

  • Implement supplier strategies such as local preferred supplier programmes that fit with cluster/regional/global objectives

  • Implement global Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives and project to local setting

  • Works with Procurement to manage vendor relationships including MSAs, rates and terms

  • Market stakeholder mapping and senior relationship management

  • Ensures cross-SRATCO partnerships and collaborations on initiatives that span the organization

  • Ensures compliance processes and global policies are followed at the local market level

  • Key interface with other enabling departments, providing subject matter expertise for initiatives

  • Responsible for overall issue management and resolution in local market

  • Develops local metrics and cost savings

  • Expert on Core CEE Services (colleague meetings, external attendee meetings, Congresses, Meeting Consulting, Oversight, Analysis, & Insights)

  • Ready to pitch in whenever help is needed

  • Shares and implements CEE best practices

  • Acts as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for CEE within the local market

  • Subject Matter Expert for business units to assist with operating plan development & any other advice requirements

  • Point of escalation for issues that require CEE CoE input either through Cluster Service Area SPOC and Regional Service Area SPOC

  • Manages both CEE FTE and Contingent colleagues in country Execution Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day delivery and management of CEE activities (including compliance, logistics, payments, reporting, etc.) . This includes internal/external meetings, speaker programs and congress support as appropriate for the local market practice

  • Support creative solutions to meetings which may include virtual and other cost effective options

  • Responsible for issue management where possible and escalation of issues where required

  • Launch global initiatives to local market

  • Vendor/supplier management where required to deliver on CEE activities

  • Day-to-day interface with stakeholders

  • Management and execution of core CEE services

  • Measure CEE outcomes for analysis and reporting of performance
