To lead the delivery of projects and programs, providing new and enhanced solutions which add value to the Commercial Business. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical and business requirements. S/he is a key BT expert / leader for BT solutions by global, regional and local BT teams and business stakeholders in the region.
To work with Regional BU BT leads, BT Business Partners and key Business Stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions which overcome complex commercial business problems, to develop business justifications, scope of deliverables, RFPs, and explorations and allow business value to be realized through innovative technology solutions. This will be done by leveraging expertise / resources worldwide across solution center teams.
Manage pan-regional programs and change initiatives through the project life cycle, including projects delivered to countries in one or more regions and\or the related area of responsibility.
Provide all aspects of technical project management and solution delivery including; project scope, detailed project requirement definition, rigorous project estimates (including project plans, budget, timelines and resourcing), entrance/exit criteria across phases of development, team resource management, metrics tracking, and technical program delivery to scope and quality standards.
Maintain program plans and partner with the Global Support and Operations contacts in successfully transitioning project to support.
Ensure the smooth transition of production applications to support and maintenance structures.
Partner with the other program managers in GCS to assist staffing deployments of large global initiatives that require local BT resources.
Partner with BT Business Analysts and Business Partners to ensure business and functional analysis activities (e.g. documenting functional requirements) for projects are clear and concise
Manage and bring to resolution all project risks/ issues. Escalate major project risks to scope or budget or timeline to appropriate escalation points.
Actively lead and participate in meetings with; clients, vendors and stakeholders to provide technology project team status/review of program progress.
Review projects/programs when complete against business case to ensure projected benefits are being realized.
Accountable for on time/on budget/to scope and quality delivery of all initiatives and programs managed by him/her
To keep discipline for tracking projects on Corporate PTS Project Tool
Meet key metrics including on-time, on-budget, on-quality project delivery; client satisfaction on a project-to-project basis; user satisfaction and effective leadership of teams through influence.
Identify, manage and bring to resolution all project risks/ issues. Escalate major project risks to scope or budget or timeline to appropriate escalation points.
Identify opportunities to integrate User Experience efforts into the solutions delivery lifecycle and engage the User Experience team as appropriate
Effectively leverage all Governance and Portfolio Tools that support project, resource and financial management in accordance with Business Technology standards
Work with the Center of Excellence teams to ensure project solutions align with product roadmaps, helping to develop an application strategy which provide long term value to the overall business and allow the BT function to reduce cost.
Partner with GCS Architecture Engineering and Development teams in all aspects of Solution Delivery from ideation and estimation through transition to support.
Ensure the smooth transition of production applications to support and maintenance structures working with BTI (for help desk and infrastructure), Shared Services, and Maintenance and Support vendors
To Manage and ensure smooth UAT and Hypercare Phases before rollout and ensure all projects are delivered with a minimum of business disruption.
Drive forward key initiatives to achieve technical delivery cost savings targets through effective project estimation, vendor selection and negotiation, and project delivery efficiencies.
Review projects when complete against business case to ensure projected benefits are being realized.
Manage the entire vendor management lifecycle (from RFI to SOW) and provide oversight of vendors across the solutions delivery lifecycle
