Working in a maintenance support environment that is responsible for the overall performance of facilities, services and equipment that support the manufacture of aseptic medically necessary products, you will be an energetic and motivated individual who is looking for the opportunity to be part of a team and work collaboratively with the broader Engineering group as well as cross functionally with other departments such as Manufacturing Operations and QA.

Main responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ensuring that site assets operate effectively, efficiently, safely and without downtime.

The role will involve the performance of scheduled preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs , project works, process improvement activities, and timely manufacturing assistance to achieve site operational objectives.

You will be provided with training for the necessary tasks across the site and will therefore need to be willing to learn and develop new skills, be flexible and want to contribute to successful team outcomes.

You will have the following:

  • Fully qualified mechanical fitter - Trade Certificate

  • Minimum 3 years previous industrial experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. (Pharmaceuticals , food , chemicals).

  • Stainless Steel Welding experience

  • Hydraulics /Pneumatics/Steam understanding and experience

  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Experience in working in a sterile environment (preferred).

  • Understanding and application of quality systems as they apply to Good Manufacturing Practice systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to timelines whilst demonstrating accountability for own work

  • Sound interpersonal, decision making and problem solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills.
