Director, Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) Emerging Market Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) Lead and Latin America Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) and Internal Medicine (IM) Lead

Ranging from which assets and new business ventures to invest in; to how we can communicate most effectively with our patients and healthcare professionals; to what are the industry and competitive signals we should look at in a changing health landscape; BA serves as the compass and decision support for the enterprise.

The BAI Director, Emerging Market I&I Lead & LatAm I&I / IM Lead, is the strategic client partner and BAI lead to a Pfizer Innovative Health I&I Emerging Market Group Lead and LatAm Regional TA Leads for I&I / IM, bringing innovative business solutions through strategic thought partnership, presence and influence with the senior commercial leaders. The lead proactively will be accountable to deliver EM regional projects by closely partnering with other BAI EM regional leads and proactively will evaluate opportunities and work to progress key strategies into action plans and evaluations.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to the business. He/she will join BA colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.


  • Be the strategic thought partner to the PIH EM Group Lead for I&I and influence the strategic direction of the EM region with advanced knowledge, keen insights to business needs and recommendations

  • Partner with the LatAm Regional TA Leads for I&I and IM to prioritize and execute key projects leveraging other EM regional and local BAI colleagues

  • Lead the delivery of BAI services, drive analytics-based recommendations to actions and favorably influence EM senior commercial leaders on their business strategy

  • Lead the creation of integrated insights plans and deliverables across extended BA teams including COE teams

  • Deliver healthcare and customer landscape insights to the commercial team to enable business decisions

  • Collaborate with finance, BAI global and COE teams to design, promote, and implement innovative product forecasts analytic approaches

  • Regularly update and present product and portfolio performance measures and facilitate discussions with commercial teams to strategize planned actions to enhance performance outcomes

  • Be accountable for continuous improvement and utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the PIH EM Asia

  • Contribute to sharing of best practices and building a culture of high performance within the team, across BAI and the broader BA community


  • B.A. / B.S. required; advanced degree in relevant discipline desirable (e.g. MA/MS/MBA/Ph.D.); quantitative background preferred

  • 10+ years experiences in business analytic function, country strategy and/or strategic consulting

  • Experience leading and achieving results through matrixed organizations

  • Track record of thought partnership with commercial leadership to advance organizational priorities and goals


  • Advanced degree in relevant discipline desirable (e.g. MA/MS/MBA/Ph.D.); quantitative background preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
