This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. You will join BA colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

Data & Analytics Innovation (D&AI) team, within StratCO Business Analytics, is responsible for enabling analytics capabilities ranging from sourcing & ingesting the right data into ecosystem to offering tools & technology solutions for the analytics community to leverage the data and rapidly generate insights for the business.

In this role, we are looking for frontrunners in the field of DevOps to facilitate cutting-edge analytics capabilities for large scale adoption.

You may have a software development background, or an operations background or you were raised in a DevOps culture from the start of your career. You will have the ability to manage technology vendors, support resources, delivery partners, Pfizer stakeholders, etc. and apply emerging and traditional technologies for analytics improvements in support of identifying rapid insights for commercial strategy development.


  • Exhibit DevOps and Continuous Delivery mind set and passionately evangelize new ways of addressing stakeholders expectations.

  • Lead and transform the platform support function through continuous improvements.

  • Manage multi-million dollar contract with platform support, software applications vendors and cloud compute/storage partners.

  • Provide a diverse set of Agile and DevOps coaching services ranging from project management, requirements, design, development, testing, environment management, change / release, and support

  • Institute a robust set of processes including prioritization framework and govern execution plans.

  • Oversee analysts Knowledge Management portal and ensure seamless information sharing & collaboration.

  • Lead a daily scrum meeting in collaboration with BT partners and manage support vendor resources and critical issues.

  • Manage communications to the BA constituents and maintain high degree of support services.

  • Ensure optimal ingestion of foundational data for analytics into the cloud Analytics Eco System.

  • Establish operational excellence metrics and work with Business Technology (BT) in managing the vendor support partners.

  • Identify Analysts need for new functionalities and work with the application vendors to influence their roadmap activities.

  • Review new requests, manage approval processes, assign priorities and monitor its progress through the support lifecycle. Perform stage gate reviews for sizable projects and ensure its conformation to standards and best practices.

  • Provide application level training for Analysts in the BA community and help answer their day-to-day how to questions.

  • Facilitate sharing of knowledge, SOPs, Best Practices, etc. through community of practice sessions.

  • Assign and manage application licenses including managing requests for user/project on-boarding

  • Oversee vendor resources and offer day to day direction on both development and support requests.

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to resolve application level issues.

Professional Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Proficient in Agile and Test driven development

  • 5+ years of support experience in an agile DevOps model

  • 10+ years of data and analytics coding experience

  • Computer Science degree (major or minor) a big plus

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new analytics tools

  • Change management and experience with operationalizing tools / platforms in enterprise environment by navigating the Release, Risk & Compliance and regulatory processes.

  • Expertise in Continuous Integration, Automated Deployment, Automated Provisioning, Automated Testing.

  • Proficient in cloud transformation on anyone of: AWS, Azure or Google

  • Good working knowledge of some technologies to support these principles, like Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory, XL Deploy, Chef, Salt Stack, Puppet, etc. and actively research and experiment with new technologies like Docker, Packer, Consul, Kubernetes, CoreOS and many more.

  • Deep understanding of compute & data storage in the cloud infrastructure and analytics tools
