Pfizer has an outstanding opportunity available for a science focused, data driven leader to join our Clinical Development and Operations team in New York City. The Senior Director will report to our highly accomplished Head of Study Optimization.
The Senior Director, Feasibility Group Leader, Oncology will work with world-class thinkers and leaders on high priority assets. Y ou will partner with CROs and Clinical Operations to drive rapid, accurate, and robust assessments in the areas of program and country feasibility, oversight of site identification/site feasibility, and timing of key start-up and recruitment milestones, focusing on data driven estimates, benchmarking assumptions, robust scenarios and accurate planning.
You will drive therapeutic area strategies and provide asset level leadership.
As a member of Study Optimization Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development of the strategic vision for the organization and r epresent Study Optimization as the point of contact for global stakeholders and lead initiatives in order to facilitate Pfizer's clinical development goals.
Influence the decisions of top management/senior leaders through recommendations based off robust innovative options and solutions to simplify current complexities.
Leverages advanced knowledge as subject matter expert and through process ownership drives concepts and theories within CD&O.
Recruitment, training and management of Feasibility Leads for assigned therapeutic area by establishing direction and priorities.
Manages to the operational plans and budget.
BS- - 13 years
MS - 10 years
PhD/MD - 8 years
At least 6-8 years of leading complex cross functional teams as well as managing teams
4+ Years' experience in supporting Oncology Clinical Trials preferred.
