JOB SUMMARY The Medical Information function works to become a renowned center of MI excellence and be regarded by our customers as a trusted asset for medical information and strategic insights for improving patient care. T he Associate Medical Information Manager ( A MIM) responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer facing (frontline) activities: P rovid e technical and medical information with high quality customer service in the corresponding local languages.
Secondline/TA activities: S upport the development of Therapy Area strategy ; prepar e or customiz e responses for medical inquiries ; analy ze inquiry trends to support departmental and company objectives
Cluster/Business Unit Relations and Partnership activities: S upport and driv e relationships with corresponding clusters and the Business Units/ Commercial/Therapeutic Teams ; s upport MI awareness activities locally and collaborat e with local business partners for product related activities .
RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Facing (Frontline) Medical Information Request Management
Research and respond to inquiries received via corresponding channels such as phone, email, internet or mail within the required timelines and standards.
Exhibit broad/general understanding and knowledge of common product information and enquiries for the local clusters/countries.
Document the inquiry and response accurately and completely according to relevant Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/ Work Instruction (WI), and regulatory guidelines.
Identify and record, or triage to responsible designee, adverse events and product quality complaints as well as process fulfillment.
Provide response using approved resources.
Secondline Medical Information Content Management
Exhibit broad knowledge of assigned therapeutic area and a solid understanding of pertinent disease states as appropriate.
Create , customize , localize and maintain MI response documents as required, by ensuring that responses are medically and scientifically accurate, balanced, and meet customers' needs.
Ensure the alignment of response documents to local labeling and licensing for the corresponding countries.
Review and approves MI documents completed by others.
Cluster and Business Unit Relations and Partnerships
Play an active role in defining, developing and delivering annual operating plans for Hong Kong and M acau .
Manage awareness projects as applicable and within the strategic imperatives.
L iais e with the Country Medical Council and corresponding commercial teams (TA/BU).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders where applicable to ensure MI responses are appropriately aligned within the scope of MI and Pfizer Medical.
Analyze inquiry data to identify trends and communicates key points to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate or provide training and support activities as needed.
Maintain compliance with corporate and departmental trainings, SOPs and WIs.

Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates keen analytical skills and attention to detail
Have ability to research medical information and provide oral, written & presentation solutions
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Excellent people and problem solving skills
Proficiency with computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft office)
Fluent in written and spoken both English and Chinese ; Fluent in spoken Cantonese and Mandarin

Align Across Pfizer
Medical Science ( i.e. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology or related fields) graduate preferred. PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or Master strongly preferred. Degrees from other medical disciplines and or life sciences also considered.
Minimum 5 years working experience (including 1- 3 years m edical related working experience in multinational pharmaceutical industry )
Good medical/pharmacy/Medical Information knowledge for the defined therapeutic area.
