Pfizer Maintenance Supervisor in Rocky Mount, North Carolina
The Maintenance Supervisor is the administrative/managerial focal point for the maintenance department. This position provides the necessary over-view and planning to maintain a cohesive organization that provides the facility with the technical services for equipment and facility maintenance. This position coordinates all maintenance efforts related to manufacturing in a specific area and shift. This individual must ensure proper coordination of all activities with other organizations within the facility.
Controls maintenance operations budgets.
Directs skilled labor in testing, evaluating process changes, modifying equipment, and maintenance of equipment and facility.
Coordinates maintenance activities with other organizations at plant and division levels.
Provides interface on key maintenance issues and problems with manufacturing management.
Ensures cGMP compliance and conformance to all regulatory requirements.
BS/BA degree required.
3-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
Must have demonstrated leadership ability and/or potential to manage projects and personnel activities.
Must be able to exercise leadership and diplomacy when coordinating and working with all levels of employees and outside contractors.
Must have demonstrated the ability to manage assigned commitments within the maintenance budget.
Must have a good background in electrical, plc's and computer systems.
Walking, climbing stairs, climbing ladders/walking on catwalks, work on knees occasionally, repetitive use of upper extremities.
Use computer terminal 2 hours per shift, respond to visual warning indicators, respond to audible warning indicators, respond to color or special visual indicators, use powered material handling equipment, work around moving equipment, wear specialized protective clothing, wear PPE (safety shoes/glasses, etc.) work in hot or cold environment, work in hearing conservation area, work with potent drug powders
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
This position is for a 12 hour night shift in SVP.
