Pfizer Senior Associate Scientist (non in United States
We are seeking a highly motivated non-PhD senior research associate to join our efforts in discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics at Pfizer's Cancer Immunology Discovery (CID) Unit in South San Francisco. The successful candidate will use a wide range of in vivo techniques to support the development of potential targets. Major responsibilities will include work with preclinical animal models.
Support in vivo projects
Communicate efficiently with different principal investigators to coordinate dosing, tumor measurements and data collection.
Record experimental procedures in electronic notebooks.
High accuracy and efficiency in IV dosing.
Interact with different research groups inside CID.
B.S. in biological sciences with 3+ years' relevant post-graduate work experience.
Excellent in vivo skills are imperative, including consistent dosing of animals via IV, IP and SC injection.
A willingness to learn and adopt new experimental skills as needed.
Proficiency in application software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to independently process and analyze data is required.
Must be organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner to drive projects forward.
Experience in cancer therapy drug discovery is a plus.
